On the palate the Pujanza Cisma 2009 is full-bodied, fleshy, with plenty of fruit.  It is well balanced with an excellent  acidity and powerful velvety tannins.  Long and highly persistent finish

A powerful and elegant wine of great ageing capacity.

Pujanza – Tempranillo

Bodegas y Viñedos Pujanza is a small familiar winery that started in 1998. Carlos San  Pedro, owner and technical director of the winery, is the fourth generation of a  family with a great viticulture tradition. Bodegas y Viñedos Pujanza is his personal project, an idea he had since his childhood and today, thirteen years after the  beginning, it has become a reality.  The winery follows strict guidelines to make  high quality wines,  choosing specific vineyards for each wine and a limited production. Bodegas y Viñedos Pujanza is located in Laguardia, in the heart of D.O.Ca. Rioja  Alavesa, one of the most beautiful villages of Spain, with a great culture and historic  heritage.

Features D.O.Ca. Rioja:

– La D.O.Ca. Rioja is located between two mountains, la Sierra de Cantabria in the north and  Sierra de la Demanda in the south. Sierra de Cantabria works like a natural boundary and meteorological barrier, providing ideal conditions to the vineyards.
– The climatic influences are Atlantic, Continental y Mediterranean.
– Rainfall: aprox. 400 mm.
– Several microclimates.
– Different wine styles according to geography.
