  • Designation: DOCA
  • Producer: Bodegas Perica
  • Year: 2012
  • ABV: 13%
  • Grape: Viura 60% Verjedo 40%

The palate is creamy, fresh and long, which again will highlight its fruity character in perfect harmony with the toasted wood.

Food Match: Combines well with fish and seafood dishes, white meats, rice dishes and salads.

The 6Cepas6 Blanco is golden yellow pale wine, powerful, clean and fresh nose. Fruity first sensation with notes of pineapple and banana on a fennel background are evident, giving way to notes of vanilla and torrefacto coffee.

Made from a careful selection of grapes from the Viura and Verdejo varieties. After a light pressing, it passes to light stainless steel tanks where the maceration of the skins of the grapes with the must itself is performed in order to get the maximum potential aroma. Alcoholic fermentation then takes place in new French oak barrels, followed by aging on the lees for approximately four months.

Best served at 8-9 degrees C.

A winery with its own character

In our land nothing describes better than a nickname.  In someone’s nickname is where you find the strength, character and sense of identity of each family member.  That’s why our warehouse could not be called other than “Perica”: the nickname that David Garcia has worn with pride for years.  It defines a way to view life based on the effort, attention to detail and respect and love of the wine heritage of this land. These are the virtues that have driven our winery during the last half century to go from being a hold of a local to an international company.

The quality of our soil and the perfect acclimatization of different grape varieties are the reasons why the Rioja Alta is regarded as an indisputable international level for all great wines lovers.  Our vineyards, all located in this part of the province, provide a unique raw material with which to create our award winning wines.
