Strawberry flavours and blossom scents, but powerful and crisp finish.

Food Match: Champagne Rosé Brut can be enjoyed on its own or with most foods.

Delicate pink shades revealing short skin contact to extract just enough strawberry flavours and blossom scents, but finishing powerful and crisp. Fine lees aromas, crystallized fruit, elegant palate, fine persistent mousse. The Champagne Rosè manages to combine strawberry sweetness with a long fresh aftertaste.

A small family estate that has been owned by the Bergeres for a number of generations now. Andre and his wife Brigitte having taken over the place in 1986, they’ve invested heavily in winemaking plant but also the plants themselves. Careful selection of vine stock, replanting and a little judicious purchasing of land has brought them to this fine position of being able to release their wines when they feel they are ready and not having to punt them out as soon as.

From the producer’s website:

Albert, André, Annaëlle and Adrien, the “A” of A. BERGERE Champagne, ensure the company’s bright future to the satisfaction of lovers of our fine wines.

A. BERGERE grapes are mostly grown in the Fèrebrianges, Etoges and Congy vineyards. Supplies of grapes from other famous villages and prestigious Champagne vineyards make up the rest of our production. The rich flavours of three Champagne grape varieties are used in our production: Chardonnay (50 %), Pinot Noir (30 %) and Pinot Meunier (20 %).

In the past as at present, A. BERGERE Champagne has always remained true to its values of tradition, family independence, generosity and integrity.
