Matteo Braidot Sauvignon Blanc’s colour is straw yellow with hints of green.  The nose reveals notes of grapefruit with slight fragrance of elderberry and green pepper.

On the palate it is fresh and savoury at the same time, with a pleasant long finish.

Matteo Braidot Sauvignon Blanc is perfect to drink on its own although it is a  perfect match to an asparagus risotto or any fish course.

The harvest for Matteo Braidot Sauvignon Blanc, takes place at the beginning of September.

The cold maceration process lasts only a few hours, with soft pressing of the grapes.  The fermentation takes place with  controlled temperature, at the end of which the wine rests on noble lees until ready for the bottling process.

The Braidot family has dedicated itself to farmimg since 1870.

Today the estate covers an area of  approximately  247 acres,  4/5 of which are vineyards, while the remaining land is kept as woodland and for vegetable crops.

The wines are made from a careful selection of grapes, with the typical haromas of the lands of Friuli, plain and raffinate wines and elegant at the same time, with respect for traditions.
