The Santarelli family have been tending their estates in Latium since 1985. Giulio and his wife Adriana thought they had the right spot and with the help of Prof Attilo Scienza they spent the years from ’85 to ’92 finding the best sites and the best varieties that provide the award winning wines of today, under the care of the oenologist Fabrizio Bono.  A wonderful combination of fully developed Malvasia and Bombino to provide fragrance and body, but sharp smart wine making to keep vibrant acidity of the finish. Campo Vecchio is warmer and fuller, the Superiore is leaner, more structured. The Quattro Mori shows how good Lazio can be for reds, and it can be, think how far south Rome is.  Donna Adriana is and elegant, intense, and the Muffa is extraordinary.
